As we march on into March We are hoping for some lovely weather and looking forward to seeing daffodils pop up in our garden and around the Dales.
I’m home alone for a week in March, as it’s time for Bernie to take a solo trip. He is off to Malta for a week to do a bit of sightseeing, so the dogs are my company for the week while I run the B&B and try to catch up on a bit of maintenance. I may paint the kitchen if time allows! After all, Bernie painted the dining room while I was away last month.
Humble Pie Cookery Kitchen has now opened in Hawes and we wish Elizabeth every success. I was unable to go to the opening day as I was on Nanna duty. However, Elizabeth kindly let me in for a sneaky peek on the day before. It is a fabulous kitchen and I am hoping to get together with a couple of friends to book a course very soon so I can then tell our guests first-hand all about it. Elizabeth’s new business opens up a lovely chance to take in a cookery course when visiting the Yorkshire Dales, something that has never been an option before.
National B and B week is back again on the 16-22 March. Once again, we have a great offer on so come and spend a few days in the Dales. Don’t forget Mother’s Day is on the 22nd March too, if you’re struggling for a gift our vouchers always go down well so your Mum can book a few days away whenever she likes.
Before we know it Easter will be here too. April is already booking up so if you fancy a break with us please book directly via our website or get in touch and we’ll be happy to help too. Remember to always keep an eye on our offers page.
Right now we are working on adding a page to our website to give even more information on things to do and places to go so you can plan the perfect break if you're looking for ideas. We want to help you plan the best possible stay in the Dales and we only ever recommend places we really love ourselves!
